IMPORTANT UPDATES: 

10/17/17--

Construction of the 1280 Elevated Storage Tank project was completed in March, 2017 as part of our Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to provide additional storage for the Highway 71 System. An added benefit is improved pressure consistency and redundancy to customers who are served by our Home Depot Pump station including Ladera Subdivision, Homestead, Falconhead, Spillman Ranch, and Spanish Oaks.

As part of the next phase of this improvement project, on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 18, 2017 we will be opening valves to bring more customers into the 1280 Elevated Storage Tank Service Area. This will include the Homestead, a portion of Spanish Oaks, and adjacent areas. Customers may experience some pressure fluctuations during this conversion, which will take place between approximately 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

We will be implementing additional improvements to the Home Depot Pump station in the near future to facilitate improved service reliability to customers on our 1280 pressure system.

**Due to an electrical power failure at the WTCPUA (PUA) Home Depot Pump Station at 2:10 p.m. on October 12, 2017, water pressure at Falcon Head, Spillman Ranch, and Ladera neighborhoods in Travis County have been affected, and possibly Homestead and Spanish Oaks neighborhoods as well.

The electrical failure has been repaired at 2:35 p.m. and, therefore, normal water pressures will return shortly. The PUA will provide updates as they become available.

**Due to testing of a bypass connection to the WTCPUA (PUA) Highway 71 20” Transmission Main for the Sweetwater Crossing Project in Travis County, starting at 5:45 am this morning October 12, 2017, low water pressure was experienced by TCMUD 12 and surrounding customers.  Testing was completed and pressure restored at 7:45 a.m.
